Camp Recap!
In the early evening, we arrived at the cozy accommodation in Appelscha. While we had wraps for dinner, the AcCie told us about the crazy 88 challenges that were due during the weekend and split us into groups. After dinner, we went out for a treasure hunt in the dark, looking for some hints. On our way through the woods, some scary ghost tried to chase us, but luckily we were faster. The instructions were unclear for the last point, but Gea saved lost Krotoners. Arriving at our welcoming house again, we started playing some games and having a few beers. Late in the night (around 3), the biker gang led by Tobi finally arrived. Everyone was having a great time. The next day we had a nice breakfast and went to the famous circus market. This is a 60? Year old market with a lot of old stuff, circus leftovers, and child toys. Highly recommended a horror movie location. In the afternoon, we went to play minigolf on the only Swedish felt course in the whole Netherlands! Since we were a bit cold and hungry, we took a small detour to eat some fresh pancakes, before doing a reverse hide and seek in the woods with everyone. For dinner, we had the well-established fries with some frikandellen. After everything was cleaned up, the famous bonte avond started! Many Krotoners prepared a little show, and Sanne was often involved. Some would even say it was the best bonte avond ever! After some more drinks, hungry and slightly drunk members were plundering the kitchen, looking for something to eat. They found some knakworsten that were meant for breakfast and pounced greedily upon them. Breakfast was still nice, Krotoners were happily heading home afterward. Thanks for an amazing camp AcCie!
